There are multiple manufacturers that sell overhaul kits so which one is the best? I have been repairing automatic transmissions for a few years and I will say that there is no “the best”. For some transmissions works one brand, for two other transmissions a different brand. Of course you may have your preference what brand to use, but I always tend to check out and note price to performance ratio. It also depends what the customer really wants us to use in the AT repair. Do change your automatic transmission oil every 25,000-35,000 miles and do not believe the term “filled for life”. This is just a marketing ploy from the manufacturers – there is no such a thing “filled for life”. Even the most expensive oils have limits and lose technical specifications required by the transmission.

The Jaguar XF is a midsize luxury/sports car made by Jaguar Cars. It was launched in the United Kingdom for the 2008 model year after being seen as a concept car in 2007 at the North American International Auto Show. One of the stunning features of the XF is its oval chrome grille, a call back to Jaguars from the 1960′s. Many components on the XF were borrowed from other lines in the Jaguar family. The sub-structure of the XF was carried over from the S series. The suspension and mountings are the same as those used of the XK. While there is no manual transmission option for the XF its six speed automatic gearbox shifts 10% faster than before.

The XF is fully decked out with a leather interior. Minor systems such as the lighting and the glove compartment operate by a simple touch on a plastic cover.

The XF is one of the most aerodynamic cars offered by Jaguar cars. It was designed to be that way before any concept car even made it to the wind tunnel. The XF has a drag coefficent of 0.29. The front to rear life balance is precisely zero. This ensures that the XF glides on the road and also increases the XF’s fuel efficiency. The XF’s standard audio system consists of eight speakers backed up by 140 Watt amplifier. For those purchasing a higher end model of the XF there are two other audio packages boasting even more audio equipment for your enjoyment. There are four different models of the XF available in the U.K., including a diesel model. In the U.S. there were over 3,000 per orders for the XF and there are three models available. They range in price from 50,000-63,000. The Jaguar XF is a car that is imposing but sports some great stats.

Jaguar has been always the luxury car that not everyone could afford. Especially the XJ model that is the Jaguar flagship and one of the most stylish model this company ever released. The new 2008 XJ model has a new face-lift and features upper and lower mesh grilles by default that look fantastic.

Finally, the rumors are real. Caparo T1 is the TOP1 performance car of all the cars that were ever tested by Top Gear. It even was much faster that Bugatti Veyron. A pretty impressive performance and speed:

From 0-60Mph: 2.5 seconds.

It’s definitely a real SUPER CAR.

Alfa Romeo has just announced Furiosa model that will be built on Fiat Grande Punto platform. The new model will have engine options from 1.4L to 1.8L with 105-230 horsepower. Some believe that Furiosa will have a manual gearbox and as well as Selespeed automatic box as an option. In Europe this model will be sold next year (2008) in October.

The model name was picked in a public Internet voting amongst other different twelve model names.

Nissan confirms that the new model of it’s FX series will hit the market on 2009 year. The new FX37 will be powered by 3.5L engine with 330 horsepower engine that will be also used on G37 model.

The new Infinity FX37 will be presented next year in Geneva Auto Show 2008 and will be available for sale in 2009.

Woooooooooooow. This is what I can say about Hyundai QarmaQ concept car that was displayed in latest auto shows in USA. Very futuristic design that will sure make you ponder. The only problem is when we will see such vehicles (from the design view) hitting the roads and removing the “concept” car status… Enjoy the drive!
